Manufacturing industries that use a large amount of energy are attracted to the site. e.g. in 2004 Intertissue, which converts paper into other paper products moved onto the Energy Park.
Solar Centre
A Solar Centre is used as the site visitors’ centre and shows how photovoltaic cells forming the south-facing wall of the building can reduce the heating needed.
