Facebook is all about building relationships and growing your network of ‘friends’. However, as this is her promotional business page rather than her personal page, we cannot see how many friends she has, nor can we send her a friend request.
Instead, like Twitter, you can ‘follow’ her using the link or ‘like’ her page. In this sense, you will only see what she posts publically.
Much of what Katy Perry posts on Facebook is the same as what she has posted on Twitter, why do you think that is?
It allows her fans to connect with her in their own preferred way, some may not have a Twitter account but use Facebook every day.
She doesn’t want any fans to think they are not getting the same information or are getting less information, depending on what platform they use to engage with her.
