A friend of yours who does not take Media Studies wants to become a film maker. She has written to you asking for advice regarding her aspirations.

Hi! I hope that you are well.
I know that you are very busy with your A-Level studies so I will cut to the chase!
I have decided that I am going to become a film maker! I have access to some equipment and other resources. I also have a group of likeminded friends and colleagues who want to be a part of my crew. We have already begun to shoot a few short films too.
However, we now want to make our first feature. I know that you are studying the film industry at A-Level and was hoping that you could help me out with some expert guidance.
I am very creative but I do not understand the first thing about the actual film industry! What sort of advice would you offer me as I begin my career?
I promise to mention you in my Oscars speech!

Write a letter back to your friend offering detailed and informed advice. Make sure that you give a full answer so that there is no confusion or ambiguity regarding your reply. Use the notes you made.
