Numbers are often spelt wrong in Welsh. This could lose you important marks. Check the spelling of 1-10 and learn them.

You will need to use the present tense often in your work. It’s a good idea to revise it now.

Rydw i / Dw i / Rwyn = I am

Rwyt ti = You are

Mae e = He is (Mae Jac)

Mae hi = She is (Mae Sara)

Rydyn ni = We are

Rydych chi = You are

Maen nhw = They are

There is a mutation after “yn” if you are using an adjective. It’s a SOFT MUTATION.

e.g. tal > yn dal
diflas > yn ddiflas
gwych > yn wych
