Students often make mistakes when using the time. Learn the correct spellings now so that you can avoid any problems in the future.

• ____ o’r gloch = ____ o’clock (Remember the apostrophe)
• hanner awr wedi ____ = half past ___ (Remember there is a double "n")
• chwarter wedi / chwarter i = quarter past / quarter to (Remember the “r” in the middle of the word)

Learning to proof-read is an important skill and will always be useful in the workplace. In these exercises the mistakes will always be underlined and in bold. There will either be 5 or 10 mistakes for you to correct each time. There will be different types of mistakes;

• punctuation mistakes e.g. yn abertawe – yn Abertawe
• spelling mistakes e.g. noffio - nofio
• basic grammar / language mistakes e.g. mutations, am pump o'r gloch – am bump o'r gloch
