Look at the graph and then answer the questions

Hints: Positivists are interested in taking a scientific approach to research. They look for social facts. In doing this they attempt to follow the approach taken by natural scientists. They are interested in what might cause something to occur and the effect that might have in relation to the social world.

They are interested in quantitative data which enables them to look for patterns and trends and to make comparisons.

They also want to replicate research from one year to the next or to use a standard measuring instrument, such as a questionnaire, which would enable other researchers to replicate the research.
