Subject specific vocabulary should only ever SUPPORT learners' thinking about the meaning of a poem. There are no marks for merely spotting techniques used by the writer. Commenting in detail on specific words and phrases used by the writer will lead to learners analysing the language for AO2. However, if in their annotations they see a technique being used, it would be sensible to comment on it.

Formal or informal expressions
Similes
Metaphors
Personification
Sentence structures like commands, questions , repetition
The viewpoint (First, second, third person)
How it begins and ends
The use of rhyme or rhythm
