Clearly not identical in form of address used, but as first is still informal this seems to be for speed rather than a difference in status between the two (‘reply’ button being clicked automatically may result in this – no need for greeting as it was an immediate response). In first text, salutation is placed traditionally at top of text separated from body of message by a space, but unlike a traditional letter, opener uses informal exclamation (also note use of US English).

Second message much shorter as merely a reply in a work setting. Message thread is purely transactional in its purpose so there is no need for phatic communication.
